I am creating a form as a standard template. I am able to edit the standard
Subject field, but am unable to edit the standard Message field. When I
right-click and go Properties, I do not get the same options as I do on the
Subject field. Any ideas anyone?

Many thanks in advance.

To edit the message body, you'll need to run the form. You can't edit the message body in design mode (although you could use VBA code to work with ActiveInspector.CurrentItem.Body or .HTMLBody.

You edit the message field (named body in the list) by typing in the text you
want before you go into design mode.
