Hi,
I've created a custom outlook form abt a yr ago and it works fine until recently when users state when they open up the form - they could only see the message page and not the form anymore. Thus I tried opening the file (in the same shared drive) with all the different systems I have - a notebook, a workstation and a server - works normally for the notebook and workstation, but when I tried to open on the server - I encountered the same problem as my users. So curiously - i opened the form in design mode and truly the custom form page went missing. Strangely, the same file from the same location used in my other systems and it works fine. Can anyone help me out with this ? Or is it have to do with some window patches / packs to fix this? Appreciate anything pointed out so I could give it a try and see. Thanks. |

Outlook 2003 SP2 users will need to use the Tools | Forms | Choose Form command to open a saved .oft file template.

Sorry - i forgot to mention the outlook form has a password set when you try
to design the page but when the custom form page went missing, there wasn't any popup requesting for the password too. Thought this might be important to highlight. Very interesting. But what's the reason for this necessity?
Some of my collegues have published a couple of OFTs on a webserver, which could be opened by only clicking the link - until Office 2003 becomes installed all over the company. What possibilities there are with Ol2003 SP2 for this purpose? Regards, J. Schadler "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... The usual reason -- security. More details on the changes at http://support.microsoft.com/?id=907985. Best practice is to use published forms, not .oft files.
