I am using the "NOW" function in a form that automatically dates a form when
posted. This has worked fine for years but in Outlook 2003 when you view the posted form it changes the stored value on the form to the current date and time, basically it is recalculating the form. What can be done to prevent this filed from changing. |

Show how you're using the Now() function in your form.

Using a label on the form, label contents are populated when new form is
created. Set the Intial value of this field to: Now() Calculate this formula when I compose a new form "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Show how you're using the Now() function in your form. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Mike" wrote in message ... Check the other setting you didn't mention -- whether it's set to calculate the formula automatically or only when you create a new form [item].
