Default New PC Import Problems with Custom Form

Hi Sue,

Thank you for getting back to me.

The form was stored in a Personal Forms library and tno the Contact's
folder.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'create an Outlook profile'. Im not using
Exchange Server, if that's any help.

Thanks once again,

Hal

There is no "IPM file." The form you published is a hidden item wherever you
published it, either in the contacts folder or at the root of the old .pst
file. Tell us where and we'll help you get it back. If you don't remember
where, you'll need to create an Outlook profile that uses your original
..pst file as the default store. You can then check both the Contacts
folder's form library and the Personal Forms library from that .pst file.

For future reference, it's a good practice to make a backup copy of your
form as an .oft file.

Hi there,

I made a custom some time ago for my Contacts.

I've recently bought a new pc and have networked the old pc with the form
on
it. I copied my Outlook personal folder to the new pc, (office 2003 btw)
opened the form and everything was fine... until! I moved the contacts
from
my old Personal Folder into my new Personal Folder. Then, the form seems
to
no longer exist. I've tried moving them back and I've searched for IPM
files
on both pc's but to no avail.

The form is quite elaborate and it would take me an absolute age to do
again - it would also be so frustrating as I know, somewhere on one of my
hard drives its just sitting there!

I really need to find out how to get it back and set it up again.

Any comments or help gratefully recieved

Thank you for your time,

Hal
