Outlook's only native ability to output xls is through the FIle | Import and Export command, which doesn't handle custom fields. You'll probably need to write your own custom code or use a third-party application. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?ID=23

Thanks for any input What about this: Create an Outlook view that displays all the fields you want to see, ordered as you choose. Then copy and paste the view's contents into Excel? |

@Bill - is that very much a manual process then since it involves copying and pasting? "Bill" wrote: "willwong" wrote in message ... @Bill - is that very much a manual process then since it involves copying and pasting? Yes, it's manual, so if it has to be done frequently you could choose to automate it. But it's so few steps I don't know how much you'd gain. [In an Outlook view of the item(s)] Ctrl-A (to Select All) or Select only the desired item(s) Ctrl-C (to copy) [In a blank Excel workbook] Crtl-V (to paste) Done |
