I have a custom form based in a public folder that sends emails under
certain conditions. The emails include a link to itself in the form of outlook:entryid I have been adding that to the .Body of the new mail item and send it off and it works fine. All code is behind the form. This process has been in place and working for years. However, lately some emails are received with the link inactive. All the text is there but it is not an active link that takes you anywhere. If you manually copy and paste into ie (without and ) it works fine. After some researched I tracked this down to anyone using the custom form from Citrix is generating the emails with dead links. Is there something special about Citrix that anyone would know of? Is there any settings within Outlook that may be causing this? I did a test from Citrix and had the form display the email instead of just sending it in code. The link is dead at that point but if I manually go to the end of the line of the link and hit enter, the link becomes active. Thanks Karl |

What might be relevant is your Outlook version, which you didn't mention.

Thanks Karl- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - We have Outlook 2003 installed on Citrix. However, this process works fine from both Outlook 2000, 2003 directly from desktops. I do not think it is because if Citrix itself because I get the same problem even if I run Outlook directly on the Citrix server and not just through a Citrix session. I was thinking it was some setting in Outlook or possibly coming from Group Policy... Thanks Karl |

There are no settings in Outlook to control outlook: link behavior, AFAIK. You might want to poke around in the Citrix support forums, since there are apparently some general issues with links, e.g. http://support.citrix.com/forums/thr...threadID=89027
