I have 2003 and created custom fields. Recently I wanted to delete
some of these fields. I also have about eight contact folders. What I did is delete all but one contact folder. In that folder I deleted the custom fields from the views and then from the user defined list. I did this in all the views I created for the contact folder. I then made copies of that updated contact folder so they would all have the same settings. The fields I deleted keep reappearing in the View. If I go to Define views and remove it from the list, it does not go to the Available Fields list. I have also look at the form to see if the field was in there and its not. I've always had trouble with forms not keeping their settings between Windows and closing Outlook, but not fields being deleted and then reappearing. Could the Views be bad? Thanks Shawn |
