We have Exchange Server on SBS 2003 and have Outlook 2003 and I am trying to customise an appointment form to show the date picker and have turned off the the default appointment tab. I have put in a Start and End date and Time but it keeps defaulting back to the current date and time. I use Outlook 2007 on one of the machines so if I customise the form in here to get better functions does this work in Outlook for the 2003 users. I would like to have a date and time picker as in the Appointment tab but this does not seem possible. My development knowledge is basic so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just about any date/time picker you choose is likely to be somewhat cranky.
From those who've tried to make them work, I've gleaned a few suggestions, posted at http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=26. If it were my form, I'd leave the main page visible and do customizations on other pages -or- stick with text boxes for date/time values and rely on Outlook's natural language interpretation of date-related terms like "next Tuesday." Outlook 2007 includes its own Outlook-aware date and time picker controls for use with the new form regions feature, but they should not be used with traditional custom forms. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming: Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Cathy" wrote: We have Exchange Server on SBS 2003 and have Outlook 2003 and I am trying to customise an appointment form to show the date picker and have turned off the the default appointment tab.
