Default To field in form

Anything related to a custom Outlook form should be posted in the
microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms newsgroup, which I've added to this
discussion.

When you say "these names are in custom forms," what exactly do you mean?
Specifically, **where** are they?

Hi,
(not sure where to post this since it overlaps several areas)
I need to change some active directory names. these names are in custom
created forms. when changing the names, they do not change in the form. how
would i get the change to occur in the form? when i change the name and
create a new form, i still do not see the new name. i have been trying this
for over a week.
These are universal distribution groups and the name, exchange alias,
display name, email address reflect correctly in AD users and computers. the
x400 and ccMail names have not been renamed. We are running exchange 2003
but have not removed our 5.5 server yet.

How can I get the new name the reflect in the form?

Thanks.

Default To field in form

Hi,
Thanks for adding to the correct newsgroup.

The forms are in organizational forms library.

Some time ago, a form was created with the "To" field in it prepopulated.
The "To" field gets populated from Active Directory (rather the address book
- is that correct)

in my address book, i see the correctly changed name but the email address
is listed as :

/o=Home/ou=BLD1/cn=Recipients/cn=Notify Change Group A

I hope i answered your "where" or did i miss what you wanted.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the additional information. Run the form. Change the address.
Republish the form.

Even better: After you change the address, save the item as an .oft file.
Then reload it through Tools | Forms | Design This form. Increment the
version number. Republish.
