Okay, I am taking a stab in the dark on this one. But here is our problem.
I work for a large company. We have a business process where we need our external vendors who supply us with raw materials to complete a form (which is currently faxed, dropped off, etc) to show quality authentication. We, as programmers, had an idea to create an extranet to allow the vendors to complete these online. Corporate killed that idea. I am now toying with the idea of creating the very simple, basic form the vendors need, e-mail it to them, and then they e-mail it back to us. Is this what Outlook Programming for forms entails? What I want is for the vendor to open their e-mail, fill out the e-mails form, submit the e-mail back to us where we can automatically collect that data sent from the vendor. Or is this not doable? Thanks for the information. |

Any recipient would need to run Outlook and have that custom form published
to their Outlook. Sending custom message forms over the Internet can be done but it usually ends up messing up in some way and there's a lot that has to go right all along the sending/receiving chain for it to work. See this article http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=66 -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Professional Programming Outlook 2007.
