While waiting for a response I went back to the original configuration on my new Vista pc and using Windows Easy Transfer and a movable drive moved my files. The save problem occurred in Outlook. So once again I went back to the original configuration on the Vista pc and installed Office 2003. Then following instructions from a MS knowledge file, created a currentcontacts.pst file from my old pc. But when I try to open Outlook I get a message: The path specified for the file: d:\backupsettings\outlook\currentcontacts.pst is not valid? Where should I place this file? Please help.
Thanks, Frank |
