Hi,
I've been customizing the "journal" item by adding custom fields from within the "design this form" in Outlook. When I enter the value for these fields and save the item , I am unable to search for those values using the Outlook search feature. Can anyone help and tell me what I'm doing wrong. BTW I am also using MSN toolbar to search my desktop but it too cannot find those fields. Do I need to enable some feature within Outlook? |

Thanks for the assistance. Yes, the fields were defined in the folder before
creating the form. Outlook search will only work with these fields if I use the Advance Search options and select the specific custom field and the value. This to me is very tedious if I have to do rutine searches. MSN desktop search is unable to index these custome fields because of this. It will, however, index the standard Outlook fields.
