That procedure will not work for what you want. If you want the
controls on the read page to auto-load, you want to design the form in
non-split mode. Then you split the form, and design the unique parts
of the split form. I think, if you check your current design, the
controls on the read form went in with different names. And because
you haven't put anything in those controls, the reader doesn't see
them.
