I'm running Outlook 2003, and trying to create a macro that will remove email addresses in the "To" "BCC" and "CC" fields that have been included in a list of email addresses that have asked to be unsubscribed.
My Contact list is continually adding contacts, so simply deleting those contacts who have requested "Unsubscribe" won't do the job (they may be added again later). Thinking of doing... 1) Have a text file with a list of names and email addresses that no longer wish to receive email. 2) When I send out any email, have a macro that will go through the contacts addressed, and if that contact is in the 'text file" (e.g. Unsubscribe_List.txt) to remove only that contact's email address. 3) Report list of people that were removed (if any), then let the email be sent with the modified "To","cc", or "BCC" list. ps I am a newbie to this forum! Other ideas/methodologies are of interest also! |
