Default I receive yellow print e mails how do I normalize them?

I have been receiving e mails in yellow print that are readable only when
hilited. In a header at the top of the page it reads "extra line breaks were
removed." Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening and how to fix
it. Note: If I forward the said e mails to another e mail address it reads
normally -- If I then send it back to my original e mail address it will
also read normally. Very strange!
