Hello,
I am a new to this, but need som help on the following: We need to search one of our folders regulary looking for keywords (6 pre defined keywords) found in the attachmenst of the messages. Theese attachments are always word documents or plain .txt files. When the keywords has been found the message has to be highlighten or drawn to our attention in any ways. I receive several hundred mails per day, and need to find thoose few containing the keywords in the attachmenst to give them priority. Hope some of you have some good ideas for me to solve this problem. Thank you in advance. |

You cannot search directly within an attachment's text. You would have to
save the attachments to temporary files in the file system and search them there or load up the files in the parent applications and search that way. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "Leo v."
