Default Server-side rule with script or macro

Hi,
We're using Outlook 2000 & 2003 clients against Exchange Server 2003.

Is it possible to fire a macro from a server-side rule? If not, can it be
done with a script?

My aim is to set a rule to send a pre-defined e-mail message to a
pre-defined recipient on the occasion of receipt of mail from a particular
source - but NOT to reply to that source. It's proving a lot less "standard"
than I'd anticipated!

Any help gratefully received.

No, you cannot. For advanced server-side mail processing your best bet is to
develop an Exchange Event Sink.
