can I get the immediate window in Access 2007 VBA to work without enabling
macros? When I try to test functions in the immediate window I get an error message saying macros are not enabled in the project. I don't use macros so I don't want to enable them just to get the immediate window to work (although if I have to, I have to) PS Has anybody else noticed that MS thinks the way to make their programs more secure is to make them unusable? |

Thank you for the response and apologies for the mispost.
Microsoft security comes in two flavours: -none -such complete and utter rubbish that everyone turns it off (i.e. none) can anyone in Redmond spell "security"? -- Richard "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: No. The Immediate window runs VBA code, which requires that macros be enabled. Also note that you posted in an Outlook forum, not an Access forum. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook Programming: Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Richard" wrote: can I get the immediate window in Access 2007 VBA to work without enabling macros?
