Are there methods or properties to expand/collapse shortcut groups ?

What shortcut groups? Do you mean Outlook.OutlookBarShortcut items? No,
there are no methods or properties that let you expand OutlookBarShortcuts
or OutlookBarGroups and no properties or events that tell you the if object
is expanded or not.

Yeah, those shorcut groups that you would see when pressing Ctrl+7.
