Default Toolbar button for show gridlines?

In Outlook 2003 SP1, I'm trying to add a toolbar button that will
modify the current view to show everything in groups with small dotted
gridlines. This would be a toggle; if grouping is turned off, the
gridlines should also be turned off.

I cannot, for the life of me, find where these two characteristics are
stored. I've tried to dig through the XML for the view, but without a
DTD, it's next to impossible to figure out.

Any thoughts? (Oh, these computers are controlled by our company's IT
department; we cannot go to SP2 or other version.)

The easiest way is to build the first view manually, the read the current
view´s XML property and write it into the Debug Window. Declare a variable
or a constant and use the string from the Debug Window.

Then do the same with the second view you like to use.

You can set the current view´s XML property now to one of your variables .
