Default macro trouble

Hi Folk

I created some code in VB for Outlook and now, when I try to run it, it
tells me that macros are turned off for the document . I changed the
security settings under toolsMacros, but that makes no difference.

Can you help me?

TIA

Nicolaas

You must restart Outlook before the change in macro security settings will take effect.

Nicolaas, did you re-start Outlook after changing the security setting to
medium or low?

Ok, did not know that, but what if I want to keep my security level high but
at the same time let my macro run? because my client is not going to be
impressed when I tell him he will loose security in outlook just for one
thing.

TIA

Nicolaas

In that scenario, you would need to digitally sign the VBA project; see http://www.outlookcode.com/d/vb.htm#selfcert
