![]() Hi Outlook 2007 allows you to organize your contacts into groups (which are independent of folders and categories). Is there any way to programatically access the group information for a contact? TIA -- xazzy http://forums.slipstick.com |

Do you mean distribution lists? Contacts don't store distribution list
membership information. That info is only in the DLs themselves. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "xazzy" xazzy.4082ga@invalid wrote in message news:xazzy.4082ga@invalid... ![]() Do you mean distribution lists? Hi Sue, Perhaps you missed that "feature" in Outlook 2007 like me ;-) In Outlook 2007 select the Contacts Display panel. Below the "Current View" box is "Add New Group", which basically creates a new header into which you can drop your contacts folders... (Tried to attach a screenshot but the forum limit of 1KB of attachments prevented that). TIA -- xazzy http://forums.slipstick.com |

That's called a navigation pane group. It's not specific to contacts.
What is it that you want to do with it? -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "xazzy" xazzy.40bm8a@invalid wrote in message news:xazzy.40bm8a@invalid...
