I forgot I had done the registry change as well and that didn't help either.
I messed around some more and added a UDP exception on Port 527 I think and
then it worked. I played around some more...

I had tried this already but it didn't work. Turning off the Firewall
restores functionality though so what could I be doing wrong? Can anybody
point me to exact instructions? I put in an exception...

Has anybody figured out anything more with this? This sounds like the problem
I was having in Outlook 2002. It seemed like maybe it was blocking UDP but I
made a rule to allow that traffic through...
