Yeah, I just didn't want to uninstall Outlook as I might have to set
everything (expect the info saved in the PST) again but well, I will try
this tonight and if it won't work, I will just keep it...

Thanks for the instructions and everything worked as expected (changed from
0 to 1 at the end) except I do not have instant search implementation in
Outlook 2007 at all anymore.

Thanks for your effort. I tried to reinstall after a reboot but no change at
all - the Advanced-button is still grayed out and the dialog still says
"Waiting for status...

Thanks for the hint but the problem seems to be kind of different. I cannot
rebuild the database as "advanced" is just gray. And I am constantly getting
the message "Waiting for status...

Hi!

I am using Outlook 2007 since some time. After 2 weeks without any problems,
instant search decided to stop working. I am always getting the error
message "Outlook can not perform your Search"...
