Can't Drag Message to Subfolder

This morning, after Windows XP autoupdate, with some apparent difficulty,
downloaded a half dozen or so updates at 3AM, I can no longer drag messages
to a subfolder. I can manually "move to folder"...

This morning, I found I no longer had the ability to drag messages to a
sub-folder. Last night Autoupdate downloaded a half dozen or so Windows XP
undates, with some first not OK but apparently...
