Hi I would like to move my contacts from outlook 2003 on one computer to the
another computer with the same version of outlook.
Just wondering what is the best way? Excel file? PST?

I have done as you say, and indeed errors were found in the pst file. I then
reaired the files and attempted to reopen in outlook as data file but once
again, error report:

I have moved pst to internal HDD, but still getting error message.
Where would read only attribute be? The folder the pst is in does not have
any such file.

Hi Gordon, I did not use the import function - I used the open 'data file'
option and then chose the old pst. from its location.
