Thanks! I have all of the preferences adjusted as you said already. I also
always have Outlook Express open. Your last note was VERY interesting though.

I am using Outlook Express on my new Dell computer, running Windows XP.
Before, I always got a small envelope icon on the bottom toolbar, near the
clock, whenever a new e-mail was received...
