Connect/disconnect from VPN makes Outlook 2007 hang forever

Problem solved. I checked "Use Cached Exchange Mode" in the Advanced tab of
the Account options and that fixed both of the problems: The VPN / LAN
switching issue as well as the abysmally slow...

To add, apparently the method is common.

According to google groups (MS outlook forums), the trick is to to remove
the original pst file created by OL and then and when Outlook prompts me to...

Then I removed the default PST file Outlook created and when I launched
Outlook, it prompted me to fine the PST file. I have always used this

I don't know how this worked, but I simply added a new entry in OL2003 and
that seemed to "jumpstart" the name resolution in my emails.

Now it's working as it should..

Hmmm I thought I was very specific.

When I say "copy file over" I mean a simple copy to clipboard / paste onto
new machine and then hook up using the very commonly posted method I posted
here that...
