I had mentioned the problem with Hotmail, but my POP mail from my ISP
provider had the same problem. The fix you recommended solved both issues.
Anyway, I appreciate the time you "volunteers"...

I have been using the POP3 feature of Hotmail on server
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
for years on both a paid subscription account and a legacy accout. I just
installed IE7...
