I had done that but apparently the previous 10 close outlook and reopen
didn't work. after the 11th time of closing Outlook, I was able to go in and
enable the linked contact list as an address...

I have linked a contact list from our WSS server. I can see the list in other
contacts. When I open the properties and select the Address Book tab, the
option to use it as an address book is greyed...
