Thanks Frank, I think it may be the AV scanning. Just kinda curious if
there may be any other causes.

Thanks, I do all the other things, so imagine it may be the new Nod Security
Suite I've been testing out. I have always disabled email scanning by AV
proggies, but haven't messed with many...

I've noticed for a while now, OE often locks up opening the first email.
Opens fine after killing OE and relaunching. I have always done all the
right things to maintain OE, so assume it's some...
