Openning attachments question

Save the file to your computer, then right-click it and select "Open with".
Choose the desired version of Excel and make sure "Always use the selected
program to open this kind of file" is ticked. ...

Save the attachment to your desktop (or another folder of your choice)
first, virus scan it and then try to open it. If Windows still doesn't
recognise the file type it will ask you what program...

Multiple Outlook windows in Outlook 2007?

I always end up feeling slightly sheepish when I get an answer. That one
