Problem with Outlook Express after downloading OE7

Thanks for the link. It's now in my favorites. Lots of great tips for fixing

Pesky MS Messenger won't stay away

I don't want Messenger to open when I open OE (version 6). I went to
msconfig/startup and disabled it, went to Internet properties/manage add-ons
and disabled it, but the program runs anyway...

Yikes! It works. PS, discovered you can open both the source and store folder
locations, drag and drop, then change the file name, bypassing the clipboard

moving .dbx to OE folder

Told you I was a novice. "Close OE and rename "Temp.dbx" in your OE store
folder. Now copy the *.dbx to be imported into the store folder and rename it
to "Temp.dbx". OK, What's a OE store folder...

Forwarding .jpg attachment

A slightly different angle. When I right click on a .jpg image and choose
"send to e-mail recipient" and OK the Windows resize popup box, the
underlying "preparing to send" box disappears, but...
