Office 2007 continually configures itself

I just tried to install something else, and the same thing happened.

It seems I will waste less time by just restoring this laptop back to
factory and starting again rather than trying to fix this...

How do I repair the Windows Installer?

Basically repair it in the programs window?

Office 2007 continually configures itself

For some reason Office 2007 continually configures itself.

It is installed, but every time I run one of the installed programs, it
configures again and again. I have tried to re-install it, repair...
