With the address book opened and "file" from the menu is selected, "import"
and "export" are not highlighted.

I CAN export as a text file from the main menu but that is useless.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help. I just wish I knew what happened. BTW, today I get

I had a "saved" folder under local folders that disappeared but I know I did
not delete it. I have been trying to retrieve a similar file from the
"stored" area.
