Solution = turn off "Cached Exchange Mode". I
guess we don't use that on our exchange server.

I think he was probably just assuming you got IE7
from a windows update. I doubt very much that

Hi,

Admittedly I have about 50,000 emails stored in
about 6 folders so a Compact is definitely needed,
but it takes so long and basically nukes the machine
while it's taking place I'm pushing back...

Outlook such a memory hog

Is there anything I can do to stop Outlook using
