If you click SEND/RECEIVE, the window will tell you if it is hanging
during the message retreival. I knew it was hanging because my new
mail wouldn't send.

Mine would hang on a Hotmail account,...

largest 49k bytes
total 0.3mb

created folder SAVE and moved all
moving did not help
