Viewing Calendar Entries as a List
You need to change the view to all appointments. Look on the View menu.

Sent messages should go to the local Sent folder in Outlook - if they are
going to your Inbox, you must be using Gmail. It's goofy. You can use rules

new mail desktop alert for custom folder
The rule would be for incoming mail moved to that folder - and it needs to
be a client side rule if you use Exchange server. (Adding the alert rule
will force it to client side).

messages and it takes much longer for them to come in. (I have polling set
to 10 min.) I'm not getting popups every...

Removing Weeks at the left in calendar
tools, options, calendar options - deselect show week numbers. However, the
week numbers will be replaced with week dates (May 16 -22 etc).

Are you starting the mail using a Send to menu in another application? If
so, the behavior is normal.
