let me simplify my question:

i added a field, "Project Name" to P.2, enabled Display and renamed P.2 to
Project. i have to do this fer every Task i create,...

that pretty much says it all - i'd like to have a New Task opened with a
custom field or two without having to go into Develop for every new Task...

folders in Folder View? sure would be nice to have different colored folders
for the many different Categories i use in the...
