All you guys were spot on. As much as I liked the fact that the software got
rid of the 70% of unwanted mail, I know realise it is also the cause of a few
other problems.

OE6 or other problem?

Could someone advise if I am look at outlook or server issues. I am using
OE6, via a dial up account, with an external mail server (my own website).
Checked in triple checked the coding...

Hi Jim, thanks a lot for your assistance however these work arounds didn't
work either.

I checked the files in outlook. The largest DBX file was 26MB and none had
any variations such as the (1)...
