Copying contacts into Word
You can easily save a DL as an RTF file and open it in Word. Make sure you
do all this in your Contacts Folder, never the address book view.

Copying contacts into Word
Those are distribution lists that exist in the Contacts Folder (no data
exists in the Outlook Address Book). DL's contain names and electronic
addresses only: nothing else. That's why your question...

Never that I've seen. The "incompatible with current version" message is
only generated by trying to open UNICODE PST files in Outlook 2002 or
earlier. The read only tag or a corrupt PST generates...

Contacts won't stay in "file as" order
State the global preference you set for the File As... field and how the
name elements are parsed in the Full Name dialog. I bet it will explain what
you're seeing.
