Didn't try safe mode, but I'm thinking the wireless doesn't work in safe
mode and thus we can't test for incoming duplicates.

As for the origin of the .PST file, that's unknown. ...

Well, I do agree about McAfee!

As for Norton, I've had pretty good luck at least until they started with
"activation."

I was running NIS 2003 and figured it was time to upgrade. Think I was

Been running fine with Norton 2003 (Internet security and system works).

Now I've finally updated to NSW 2006 and NIS 2006.

Don't know.

I did not purposely delete it, unless doing that "remove personal folder"
within Outlook was a deletion. I did look in the recycle bin and did not
see it there, but that may not mean...

OE folder size limitation?
