Address book Select Name dialog shows only Contacts with email add

Brian, we're not dealing with the address book view in Outlook here. We're
dealing with the address book view in Word--different animal entirely

Word wont 'select addresses form an Outlook contacts folder' ?

For any subfolder to appear in the address book view, it must be enabled as
an "email address book," so you must enable each one. Which begs the

We have no idea what you mean by "contact list." There is no such term used
in conjunction with Outlook. Do you mean your Contacts Folder? If so, which

Word wont 'select addresses form an Outlook contacts folder' ???

Outlook has not used a PAB file for over a decade. It should not even be on

Full Name field is blanked out in Contacts Pane.

Odd question. Normally the Reading Pane is not even used in any view of a
Contacts Folder. Start by explaining how you have customized your view from
the normal default and what other changes you...

change distribution list action

No. Probably best just to learn how to use the menu.
Use "remove" instead of "delete"
You already have a backup if you make a mistake: just retrieve the DL from

Start by explaining what you really did. We have no idea what you mean by
"updated to an Office 2003 pak ." Be precise and detailed with your answer.

Replacing or Over writing Outlook PST Files

Exporting, importing and overwriting are never used with PST files. You
